TrendHR’s client is seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Associate for a temp-to-hire opportunity. This role supports daily warehouse and distribution operations, including inventory control, material handling, and shipping/receiving. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong attention to safety, efficiency, and teamwork. This is a great opportunity to convert to a permanent position with a growing organization. Key Responsibilities - Perform inventory management using RF scanners and warehouse systems
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment
- Load and unload materials using pallet jacks and forklifts (preferred)
- Assist with shipping and receiving activities and documentation
- Safely handle materials and perform heavy lifting as required
- Maintain a clean, organized, and OSHA-compliant work environment
- Operate warehouse equipment including reach trucks and pallet jacks
- Utilize inventory and order systems (AS400/WMS preferred)
- Support production or distribution operations as needed
Qualifications - Prior warehouse or distribution experience preferred
- Forklift experience preferred (certification a plus)
- Experience with RF scanners and inventory systems preferred
- Ability to lift up to [insert weight] lbs and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and safety practices
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Mechanical aptitude is a plus
Requirements - Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must be able to meet attendance and performance standards
